Burt’s Bees products are free of petrochemicals, Phthalates, Parabens and Sodium Lauryl Sulfate. Yet another amazing company who is getting with the program and making products that are actually good for our bodies and don’t hurt the earth as much in the process.
Recently, I received a bunch of Burt’s Bee’s Products for review. I have been using the products over the past month and here are my thoughts…
Mini Exfoliating Body Bar – I didn’t find that this bar exfoliated at all, however, I did really enjoy using this as bar soap in the shower.
Exfoliating Body Wash – I really like this body wash. It leaves me feeling clean, smells yummy and does lightly exfoliate your body. The only criticism that I do have is that the product is too runny and is therefore difficult to control when squeezing the bottle, it pours out VERY quickly!
Mini Body Lotion – I do like Burt’s Bees body lotions. They smell nice and go on smooth.
Day Creme – This has got to be one of my favourite products that I have tried out from Burt’s Bees. The cream goes on light and you don’t even feel you are wearing it, yet, it protects your skin during the day.
Night Creme – I also love the night cream. It is slightly heavier than the day cream, so it feels like it is doing the job of moisturizing your face really well, yet it doesn’t feel gloppy.
Eye Creme – I’ve always been skeptical of eye cream products. This one went on well, but honestly, I don’t know if it did anything special for my eyes or not.
Full Size Lip Shimmer – I LOVE this lip shimmer. It is light, smooth and smells delish.
Naturally Nourishing Milk & Honey Body Lotion – As I mentioned above, I love all body lotions made by Burt’s Bees.
Soothingly Sensitive Aloe & Buttermilk Body Lotion – Love!
Almond Milk Beeswax Hand Creme – I didn’t like this product at all. I didn’t like the way it smelled and it was too sticky going on for my liking.
Beeswax & Banana Hand Creme – I wasn’t a huge fan of this product either for the same reasons as the Almond Milk one.
Hand Salve – The hand salve is nice. It goes on well and it works, but you want to make sure it soaks right in before you do anything with your hands.
Lemon Butter Cuticle Creme – I got this for the first time as a treat to my body when I was pregnant with my daughter. It really does lubricate your nails and cuticles and feels like a treat to your hands. I like to put this on while I’m watching tv so I have lots of time to rub it in.
Honey Lip Balm – This lip balm is ok. I wouldn’t use it all of the time as I don’t find it goes on as smoothly as others that I have tried. It does keep your lips from getting dried out though.
Peppermint Foot Lotion – This leaves your feet feeling refreshed and nice and tingly. I wish that I had received this in full size! What a treat to my feet at the end of a long day. It also goes on light so it doesn’t leave your feet feeling too greasy.
Naturally Ageless Night Cream
I love this night cream. I use it every night now. It is thick but doesn’t go on greasy and it smells yummy!
Naturally Nourishing Milk and Honey Body Lotion
I do love Burts Bees body lotions. This is a nice light lotion for daily maintenance.

Burts Bee products are not bad, … some of the products work, other’s I wouldn’t even recommend.
I haven’t tried Burt’s Bees products yet.

I love Burts Bees. I was a little put off by the packaging when I first started seeing it in the stores, but the products themselves are great. The packaging I wasn’t so sure of at first is now something I love about the product because it sticks out from the other products on the shelf and is super easy to find.
