When I was 6, I visited Sick Kids Hospital in Toronto in their Vision Clinic. We have also been there with my daughter on a few different occasions and I have nothing but positive things to say about our experiences! I feel very fortunate that we live so close to such an incredible hospital, but there are many families who do not.
RMHC Canada is the national organization that supports Ronald McDonald Houses and Ronald McDonald Family Rooms across the country, which provides families of sick children a home-away-from-home or a place of peace and calm within a hospital.
On May 2nd, with the purchase of any Big Mac®, Happy Meal® or McCafe®, McDonald’s Canada will donate $1.00 to Ronald McDonald Houses.
The existence of Ronald McDonald Houses helps out so many families whose children are sick in the hospital, far away from home! Think of the hotel fees that you would have to pay if you had a child in the hospital away from home for an extended period of time!
