I am SO excited for the Holidays this year. Don’t get me wrong, I always get excited for the Holidays, but this year there is that added bit of excitement because I have a baby neice who will be 3 months old. Christmas is always extra special with little ones around!
Side Note:
I remember my daughter’s First Christmas! She was 9 months old and while visiting with my inlaws, she crawled over to the diaper bag and signed (baby sign language) the sign for poo. Sure enough, she had a poopy diaper, but let me tell you that what she did was the best Christmas Gift that year!
Anyhow, I wonder what excitement a 3 month old baby will bring this Christmas?

This year, on my side of the family, we have agreed to only purchase gifts for the children and the adults will pool their money to donate to a charity instead of buying for one another. The children will get spoiled this Christmas, but that is ok right?
The gifts, of course, are not what is most important, but they certainly do add to the excitement of Christmas!

I love what your family decided to do in terms of gifts. I think I might pitch that idea to my group of friends.
It definitely takes the pressure off – buying for the kids is so much fun however I often find myself stressed out buying for adults because most of the time they have everything they need.
Giving to charity is a fanstastic idea and when the kids are older, it will teach them about the gift of giving to those in need!
December 5-Aren’t we lucky to have babies in our lives?! We have three greatgrands under the age of 2 this Christmas-only one will actually be here but we gift them all. We also have 2 ggchildren who are 4. We are so lucky. I love your idea to buy only for the little ones and to give to charities. Thank you for this uplifting posT. Elva Roberts
