One night after dinner, my amazing hubby got an idea.
This idea provided the children with a craft that inspired their creativity and imaginations!
They had such fun with their Daddy that night.
STAINED GLASS CREATION:
- sturdy cardboard
- adult scissors
- child scissors
- yarn
- white glue
- aluminium foil
- markers (permanent work best, but child friendly markers are ok too for the younger child)
Directions:
- Have an adult cut out a square or rectangle from the sturdy cardboard.
- Child spreads the glue all over the piece of cardboard.
- Cut some pieces of string (on the shorter side) and have child make a shape with their string.
- Place a large piece of foil over top of the yarn and gently press with fingers around the string shape.
- Wrap the foil around to the back of the cardboard.
- Gently colour the creation with markers (note – permanent markers would work best).
