Did you know that International Literacy Day is coming up on September 8th, 2013?
As a former Kindergarten teacher, exposing and teaching young children to literacy is very close to my heart! One of the ways that you can do this is to have words in your child’s surroundings.
Wise Decor is a fun and decorative way that you can do this by placing wall quotes around your home.
We have two places that I will be placing decorative wall quotes in our home.
The first is in our kitchen above my childrens’ art wall! We will be putting up this quote:
And the second place is in our hall going up the stairs where we have family photos. I chose this quote to put there:
I am very excited to decorate my home with some meaningful words!

We’ve got one up in our room so I think either Miss R’s bedroom or the booknook/homework room.
