We have used a few different methods for safe, clean drinking water in our home since we moved her over 11 years ago. There have been advantages and disadvantages to each method that we have tried, however what we have landed on in the end is pure drinking water, straight from the tap.
Straight tap water has its ups and downs, but what I have learned is that Strauss Water can help us with those.
I was first introduced to the Strauss WaterBar at the Green Living Show a few weeks ago. This past weekend, I had the privilege of attending a more formal event to learn about the Strauss WaterBar AND I was able to enjoy clean drinking water throughout the entire BabyTime Show which was so much appreciated!

Strauss Water is a global leader in providing quality clean drinking water to millions of people around the world. With over 40 years of experience in the field of water purification for home and business use, the company develops, produces and markets drinking water purifiers, water filters, heating and cooling systems that are sold around the globe and used by millions of people daily.
What is a Strauss WaterBar?
The Strauss WaterBar is a small, convenient and very stylish unit that sits on your countertop, providing you with clean, filtered water at a variety of preferred temperatures. It is hooked up to your main water supply and can be pre-programmed to dispense a specific amount of water as well as different preferred temperatures.
So many people are turning to disposible water bottles these days for “safe”, clean drinking water, but in my opinion, the best and more environmentally friendly option is water straight from your tap. I love how the Strauss WaterBar allows you do enjoy fresh, clean drinking water straight from your tap into a cup, mug or reusable water bottle anytime you want!
The Strauss WaterBar comes in a variety of colour choices as well as two different sleek, modern models (T6 and T7). This unique system kills 99.9% of micro-organisms and bacteria and absorbs the chlorine that is often blamed for impairing the taste of drinks. This process combines an activated carbon filter, a micro-mesh filter and ultra violet light to deliver safe, great tasting, clean drinking water, all the while maintaining essential mineral elements including calcium and magnesium.
The convenience of being able to have boiling hot water with the touch of a button (and yes, for parents out there, they do have a child-proof system in place to make this option safer for families) or cold water is a definite with a Strauss WaterBar unit.
Save TIME and the ENVIRONMENT all while enjoying great tasting water!
The unit is easy to install and maintain because Strauss Water does the work for you by offering an all-inclusive, worry-free convenience program that includes delivery, installation, and that ships all filters/ UV lamps automatically when they need to be changed.
What is your current method to provide your family with safe, clean drinking water in your home?
This post has been sponsored by Strauss Canada, but please note that my opinions have not been influenced in any way.
We use water straight from the tap. I like this filtration system and it looks nice
i totally want to get one of these! i love that it can do hot and cold and that it comes in a variety of different colors!
Nice looking machine, but it would not fit in my home, I have no counter space now. So I will stick with my office looking water cooler, it gives me ice cold water!
I think this Strauss Waterbar sounds like a wonderful addition to your home in order to have safe drinking water available from your tap for your family.
Our water is treated with chlorine, and sometimes it tastes horrible. That is the only word to describe it. I will be interested in learning more about the Strauss Waterbar.
I would love to have one of these for my home and my office. Attractive and functional, all in one!
Our local wells are monitored for safety and anything that would contaminate our water. Then javex was added to purify the water. When the water is free from the taste of javex, I fill several large gallon bottles with water and use them when there is a javex taste from the taps. I know the water is safe because of the testing.
I love how innovative this product is; really wish I had one. We use tap water in Calgary, which is pretty good and really safe.
I’d love one of these! Very innovative indeed!
Oh, I love how sleek these look, I would love to own one!
This is a very nice looking little machine, though I believe that they are rather expensive aren’t they?
