I go through our closets, specifically the kids’ closets a few times a month to collect clothing that no longer fits so that we can give them to various charities. We talk about donating our gently used items on a regular basis because it is important to me that my children learn how to feel good about giving to those in need or to help a specific cause.
Tide has some upcoming Clothing Donation Day Events that will not only help you de-clutter your home, but it will also help you to teach your children about the value of giving back. There are so many Plusabilities behind a simple good deed. These small acts of kindness can go a long way in shaping who our children become!
A Tide truck will be visiting prominent family attractions in Toronto, Vancouver and Montreal picking up gently used clothing donations with its not for profit partner, Goodwill.

What a great idea! I wish that this was organized for more cities/towns!
I wish I had seen the truck when it came to my city.
