Next week, on March 26th, 2013, the movie Parental Guidance will be coming out on DVD and Blu-ray – just in time for many of you to enjoy on Spring Break!
Below, we have shared some ideas on how you can have fun this Spring Break with your little ones, including playing baseball, going shopping for Summer clothes and of course watching Parental Guidance on Blu-ray.
Billy Crystal, Bette Midler and Marisa Tomei prove that laughter is relative in this hilarious comedy that’s fun for the whole family!
Synopsis:
Old-school grandparents Artie (Crystal) and Diane (Midler) get more than they bargained for when they get stuck babysitting their type-A daughter’s (Tomei) overprotected kids. But things go from hectic to hysterical when Artie realizes the kids are running the house with their newfangled technology. By playing by his own rules, which include sugary snacks, old fashioned games and tough love, Artie manages to outsmart the kids and achieve the impossible- bring the family closer together!
Nothing says Spring Break fun like playing a good ole’ game of baseball! Playing a pick up game of baseball with friends and family is a great way to get exercise and spend time with others during Spring Break. Your team might not be the Fresno Grizzlies but if chips, hotdogs, and other goodies are served at the game, then everyone is sure to have a great time that would be a real home run!
Go Spring Shopping
With spring comes the need for new duds and while you might not need formal attire like Harper from Parental Guidance, you’re sure to need new shorts, shirts and shoes for the warmer weather. So, make a day of it and go spring shopping! Annual springs sales will mean less spending for your new gear, so spring for some new clothes this season!
Take a Dance Class
If you like to move, then taking a dance class during spring break would be a great thing to do. If Parental Guidance’s Diane Decker taught us anything, it’s that even if you feel the need to dance in a the department store, you should. So, get moving and sign up for that dance class!
Go on a Road Trip
Spring break is exactly that – a break. One of the best ways to take full advantage of your time off is to take a family road trip! Pack up the family, order some road trip maps and set out on a journey to a nearby state, or even just a nearby town. Spectacular sightseeing, tons of adventure and fond memories are sure to follow!
Have a Family Movie Night
Once you’ve completed your shopping, played your game of baseball, taken your dance class and completed your family road trip, you’re likely to be in the mood for some quality time at home with your family. So, make it a movie night, order takeout and watch Parental Guidance on Blu-ray! This hilarious family comedy is sure to be fun for the whole family!
