Tomorrow is Earth Hour where we are encouraged to turn off our lights (and ideally not use any electrical devices too) for an hour between 8:30pm and 9:30pm.
Last year more than 5200 cities participated in Earth Hour and hopefully this year, it will be even more.
Here are some ideas for what to do doing Earth Hour:
- Enjoy a tasty snack (perhaps some of Good Girl Gone Green’s Almond Date Balls.
- Play a board or card game by candle light
- Sleep (I know, what is that?!)
- Enjoy some snuggles with someone you love
- Get out and take a walk
- Make up a group story.
- Play word games.
Do you have any more ideas for what to do for Earth Hour?

We light candles and play boggle! Its pretty darn chilly here too so I think we’ll be having some hot chocolate also!

I must admit we didnt do a full shut down. My sons bedtime is 9pm so we went down to one small night table lamp to read and cuddle by.
