Do you floss your teeth daily?
Do you floss your kids’ teeth daily?
Plackers has a great solution to making flossing teeth an easier job and in the case of the kids, much more fun!
We are quickly approaching a season where we allow ourselves a few (or in some cases, many) extra treats. The sugary treats like baked goods and candy canes can sit in our teeth and cause us some issues.
Why not include some Plackers in your family stockings this year along with the treats?! I know I will be.
A perfect stocking stuff for kids are Plackers flossers. Plackers Kids flossers are berry-flavored, come in fun animal shapes and are specially designed to make them easier for little hands to use.
To help your family have healthy teeth in the new year, we are offering a giveaway prize of a 6-month supply of kids flossers, plus an assortment of full-size bags of other popular Plackers flossers for the whole family, such Twin-Line, Micro Mint, GentleSlide, Orthopick (for people with braces) and Whitening.
Prize: 6 month supply of Plackers for your family
(approx retail value of $30 USD)

Have kids hum a song while brushing or sing it for them
Put on music while they brush their teeth and do it with them.
thanks
I have a timer in the bathroom. They have to brush until it dings!
Great minds think alike. When my children were small, I sued a timer when they were brushing their teeth too. It also helped to get flavors of toothpaste that they liked.
My rafflecopter name is Julie G.
Put a little egg timer so they brush a full minute – they love brushing and watching the timer!
I love the humming songs ideas. I used an egg timer with my kids (I use it myself sometimes too). Also, we just used a tiny bit of toothpaste for my daughter who, like me, doesn’t like the taste of toothpaste.
we use toothbrushes with characters that our kids love
A time is what has always worked for us.
I put toothpaste on their brushes so they will be ready to brush
Use a small hourglass timer like the ones from board games. My parents always used one for us to make sure that we brushed for at least a minute.
If you dread brushing your teeth, reward yourself with a new toothbrush or floss every 90 brushings. Countdown to your reward! 🙂
I always tried to buy toothpaste that my boys liked the taste of.cardshark42(at)hotmail(dot)com

I let my son pick out his own toothbrush (which is usually his fave character at the time) I encourage him to buy the one’s that play music…those are timed, so you can brush until the music stops. I also have a ‘brushing chart’ and he get’s a star every brushing. Then, we bring the charts to his dentist, who gives him coins (for the quarter machines they have in the lobby)for his efforts.
We have our own favorite toothpaste

There is a timer in the bathroom to let them know how long to brush for.
My son gets these cool toothbrushes from the dentist that have lights that flash to tell you how long to brush. Also, I recommend the fun little flossers – now that he’s getting his adult teeth the flossing is pretty important.

Hum happy birthday while you brush. It is about the right length of time to clean your teeth.
