We chose to review an embroidered bath towel to give as a new baby gift! It was fun to be able to select the font as well as the font colour for the embroidering. The towel itself is extremely thick, made out of 100% Egyptain Cotton Terry, measuring 27" x 50". There is an option to add a personalized hand towel as well, which is a wonderful added touch. The detail and quality of these towels is very impressive!

We were VERY excited to give this towel as a gift to our dear friend. It was fun to watch the Mom's face light up when she opened up her gift. She was so happy to see her new daughter's name on something, this clearly will be a towel that will be used for years to come. It will definitely help to make getting out of the bath just as much fun as the bath experience.
KidSpot has a large variety of gift options from room decor to growth charts, blankets and more!
One lucky reader will receive a personalized Bambini towel!
Open to Canadian Residents Only.
Giveaway ends on July 31, 2012.

My bathtime tip is to bathe one kid at a time. It honestly cuts down the stress a lot.
ReplyDeleteIf you really need to have multiple kids get washed at the same time, either have an extra set of hands to pass each one off to for towelling, or have everything lined up in arms reach (towel, clothes/pjs for each kid, etc).
My bath time tip is to give them frozen homemade juice pops in the tub. It totally contains the sticky mess.
ReplyDeleteMy tip is to have everything ready to bath them and when they get out..

keep lots of toys in the bath for them to keep them happy and distracted for when you wash their hair ;)
ReplyDeleteHave your kids shower with you (one at a time), saves on baths all together. They're highly overrated (smile).

Sing to babies while giving bath ensures that he/she pays attention to you and not distracted by toys so that the bath can go by quickly and efficiently. They can play with toys gradually when they get older.
ReplyDeleteI have my kids all bathe together, and put a towel on the floor to catch splashes!
ReplyDeleteKeep it fun. We have trouble with getting the hair washed so we keep a pair of goggles in the bathroom, then no soap, bubbles, etc in the eyes.
ReplyDeleteMy bath time tip is to have everything ready before bath time.
ReplyDeleteMy best bath time tip is put the towels in the dryer just before the bath and put a couple drops of lavender to sooth & put the kids right to sleep :)
ReplyDeletePut a stool or chair beside the tub, it will save your back
ReplyDeletemake it fun and they won't argue when it's bathtime

Bath them together and have the phone already beside you since you jsut know it will ring as soon as you get them in there.
ReplyDeletealways check the temperature of the water before letting little ones in!
ReplyDeleteAlways run a bit of cold water before you turn off the taps. It cools them down so little people won't touch them and get burnt!

My tip is to put extra towels on the floor beside the tub. My girls can never keep the water in the tub and it gets everywhere!
ReplyDeleteI always have a few bath toys so my kids would concentrate on playing them and I can finish bathing them more quickly. Also, I keep towels, bath products, and clothes in a place where I can easily reach them with one hand
ReplyDeleteI like to use lavender bath products and even spray my son's bedding with a little bit of the scent before bed.
ReplyDeleteI also am a big fan of lavender bath for my daughters AND SELF to get to sleep! Nothing more relaxing! Following up with brushing teeth and bedtime in bed.
ReplyDeleteNever let them see you sweat no matter how cranky they may be during bathtime.

Have everything ready before you kids get in the bath. I make sure the towels, soap, shampoo are ready for use so I don't have to leave the room.

My daughter loved bathtime when she was little. It was difficult to get her out! After bathtime we had a hot chocolate and played a board game. Happy memories!
ReplyDeleteGet into a regular bathtime routine so they always know what to expect. :)
ReplyDeleteMy daughter likes singing and splashing in the tub - now it's fun time for her!
ReplyDeletenever forget to test the water temperature

while the kids are in the tub, I get their pyjamas ready
ReplyDeleteMy Bathtime tip is to make sure you use a bath mat at the bottom of the tub so you avoid any kind of slips and falls by you or the little one!
ReplyDeleteFun tub toys can make all the difference!
ReplyDeleteI love when my son explores in the bathtub. Different sizes of plastic containers are fun. They learn about volume and can make some pretty cool sounds and bubbles at the same time!!!!

July 20-Have EVERY THING you need at hand and DO NOT LEAVE THE CHILD ALONE FOR A SECOND, NO MATTER WHAT. IF YOU ABSOLUTELY HAVE TO LEAVE. WRAP THE LITTLE ONE IN A BATH TOWEL AND TAKE HIM/HER WITH YOU. A CHILD CAN DROWN IN 15-20 SECONDS!!el03ro
ReplyDeleteShowers! My 2 girls (sometimes with me too) shower together and it cuts down on the water mess out of the tub! We have a large shower stall in our ensuite that contains all the mess! :)
ReplyDeleteMy son LOVES having bubbles .. and lots of toys. Whatever keeps him happy while hair washing is going on, keeps momma happy!
ReplyDeleteNever, never, never, leave a child alone! Can't stress that enough!
ReplyDeleteWash both girls at the same time.

Put the portable phone in the bathroom before you start. It always seems to ring as soon as you set them in.
ReplyDeleteAct like it is an adventure. Proper water toys too.
ReplyDeleteGive them time to play awhile, It relaxes them before bed time
ReplyDeleteWe have a routine with songs so that my daughter has a sense of how much longer she has to play based on when we sing a certain song.
ReplyDeleteI use a special water jug that fits close to my son's head so when I go to rinse his hair after washing, the water doesn't drip all down his face. I found it at Baby's R Us and I use it every time he hs bath!
ReplyDeletewe add colour to the bath. there are all kinds of different ones to choose from - basically tiny coloured bathbombs, they add colour to the water - and my kids go nutty for them. Keeps them in the bath. :-)
ReplyDeleteLOL my tip was going to be: Bath the kids together if you can.
ReplyDeleteI saw Lisa's where she says do one kid at a time.
Hubby and I work together, and we also find the 3 boys entertain each other, so we can just ensure they are safe, and not making too much mess.
We love to use those mesh shower bags to store all the bath toys and odds and ends.
