Dempsters® Wants to Know your Favourite Recipes for a chance at $10000

According to a recent survey commissioned by Dempsters®, over half of Canadians agree that some recipes are yummier when made with sliced white bread.

My favourite recipe made with white bread is French Toast. I love French Toast and I love it the most made with white bread.

Did you know that Canada’s favourite way to eat sliced white bread is toasted (40%) followed by grilled cheese (16%) and peanut butter and jelly sandwich (14%).

The poll reveals that 72% love white bread for its freshness and soft texture and a good majority feel it is irreplaceable as an ingredient in preparing some of their most beloved comfort foods!

To celebrate Canada’s love for great tasting white bread, Dempster’s® is asking Canadians to share their favourite recipes on their Facebook Page and participate in the Dempster’s® Great White Bread Taste-Off*.
The top 10 entries (as selected by Dempster’s®) will be judged and will advance to the final Taste-Off to determine who will win bragging rights as Canada’s White Bread Champion and winner of the $10,000 Grand Prize!
This contest ends at 12:00pm EST on March 22nd, 2012.

  35. love all of Dempsters breads and bagels, would like to get free one though LOL!! The best bagels are the everything bagels and the best multi-grain bread and of course white for the peanut butter and jam sandwiches !!!

  50. My favorite kind of bread is Multigrain, i love grainy dense bread. However, there are some things, like grilled cheese that are just better on white!
