Frecklebox.com: Personalized Gifts Perfect for Back 2 School (REVIEW and closed GIVEAWAY)

Congratulations to Jayda T., the winner!
Frecklebox.com is a unique online store that sells personalized gifts for heading Back to School!

Frecklebox sells items such as lunchboxes, binders, notebooks, school folders, personalized bookmarks and personalized stickers to name a few.

For the younger children in the house who could benefit from some additional sight word practice, Frecklebox has these AMAZING sight word pads that are personalized with your child's name! We received one for review and boy, am I ever glad we did! Sight word pads have 20 activity pages. The pad also contains a heavy cover sheet that turns into 20 personalized flash cards when cut to size. They are 11" x 17" in size. These pads are the most fun sight word activity sheets I have ever seen and I have seen quite a few, seeing as though I am a former Kindergarten teacher! They contain just the right amount of "work" for a child to do mixed up with some "fun" as well - that help them learn at the same time! From the bottom of my heart, I truly believe that these sight word activity pads are the BEST present a little person aged 3-5 could receive! Something fun and educational for them to do as summer comes to a close.

When we do colouring or work activities at our kitchen table, we always use "craft mats" to ensure that the children don't mark up the table (too much). We also received the most adorable and fun personalized placemats for the children. These placemats come with your child's name on them and there are a HUGE variety of design choices to choose from. They are laminated with a top quality plastic with rounded corners (a detail that I love so no one gets poked). The placemats come in 11x17 size and are perfect for mealtime or craft time! Again, a unique gift for any little child to enjoy every single day!

  1. My back to school tip is stock up on supplies when they are on sale, you don't want to have to pay $3 for a notebook in March you can get for 35c now!

  5. Two weeks before school starts, make sure to get your kids into their 'school time' bedtime routine.

Since kids stay up later in the Summer, it is hard to change their schedule and you need about two weeks for them to adjust.

  6. Let kids have some freedom as far as picking out their clothes, backpack, shoes and supplies. It's important for kids to express their individuality.

  10. Kids don't need a brand new wardrobe for September. Buy a couple of good quality versatile pieces, and you can get more great deals at a kids swap.

  11. My tip is to start shopping early and watch for sales. Waiting until the last minute can be pretty expensive. Especially for things you know your kids will need year to year you can even start stocking up after school starts in Sept and you will have it for next year

  15. My back to school tip is to start putting your kids to bed about 10 minutes early each night about 1 week before school starts. That way they'll get used to their new earlier bedtime.
